bullcrap4u. · 2y. Might be kind of late but I found a way around this. You can spam the report feature and twitch actually does something about it. If you report "this ad has played too many times" and the "this ad can't be muted or is too loud" 5 or 6 times you get to actually skip ads (in my experience on mobile).

The reason ad blockers got so popular is because we don't want intrusive BS in our online activities, and twitch is getting ridiculous with their crap. Starting today I refuse to watch anyone/anything that posts an ad. Honestly, how many times must I, as an adult, watch a kid pretend to poke at his keyboard for pokemon cards.
