DOWNTOWN — Chicago Public Schools has released its proposed calendar for the 2020-21 school year. The calendar would see school starts on Sept. 8, the Tuesday after Labor Day, which is traditional albeit a later start than usual for CPS.
Accordingly, the Chicago Public Schools has adjusted achievement percentiles in our internal systems from 2015 norms to 2020 norms for NWEA MAP exams administered by CPS in spring 2019 (2018-2019 school year), fall 2019 (2019-2020 school year), and winter 2019 (2019-2020 school year).
