In response to numerous candidate requests, we are pleased to announce Continuous Testing for CPA Exam candidates will begin July 1, 2020. The following video provides an overview of the new Continuous Testing model. Candidates are encouraged to review the below Continuous Testing status map and visit this page often for future updates.
The Continuous Testing model will replace the existing Testing Window model for the CPA Exam, which permits candidates to only test during a designated time frame. Under the new testing model, candidates will be allowed to take the exam year-round, with no restriction, only having to wait on receiving scores from prior attempts of the same section, or when a major change is made to the exam.
Hopefully beginning June 2020, NASBA will roll out continuous testing which means not only more convenient CPA exam scheduling but wait for this next part. According to the revised Rule, when system changes have eliminated the need for test window limitations “a Candidate can retake a Test Section once their grade for any previous attempt of the same Test Section has been released.”
