  • With Speex Ultra Wideband (32 kHz) Codec the Bandwidth is approximately 8 KiB/s for each Client in that Channel. So you would need to upload 20*8 = 160KiB/s while having approx. 1,2 MiB = 1280KiB/s Upload Bandwidth available. You'll also use 8KiB/s download for each Client talking in any such Channel.

We tend to use the speex codec from between 12-19.5 kbit and it works really well. The bandwidth usage is pretty small and it sounds quite good. CPU usage for the server is minmal as well with 0%...
