Can one live on a commercial property (e.g. a warehouse in an industrial area)? Yes. I was encouraged to buy a pulldown job in an industrial area and make some commercial looking living dwellings. You can do it, just talk to the council. Some are crazy enough to not do it eventhough it makes perfect sense.
