How to place your Ad.

You can put your Advertisement in any category by  choosing the category and then clicking on Place Your Ad. If you are not registered by the site then you will be automatically registered though the User Name and Password. Keep the User Name and Password to delete your advertisement or to modify your profile.

If you have already placed one Ad in any of the category you can use Registered User form to place Your Ad.

Username and Password will not be displayed in your advertisement. Your Address is optional but you will have to give email address to be displayed as contact info.


 

How to delete your Ad.

You can delete your Advertisement by clicking on Delete Your Ad or by choosing the category and then clicking on Delete Your Ad. For deleting your advertisement you will be asked to give your username and password. If you have multiple advertisement you will be asked to select the particular Ad and then delete the Ad.

 

How to change your profile.

You can change your contact information by choosing Edit Your Profile option. Once you put your Ad you are automatically registered with the site.

 

If I forgot my password

Please click here to receive your password though email. You will need your Username and the email address through which you registered at AdsMela to receive your password. For security, you will receive your email at your registered email address only.

 

For how many days the advertisement will appear in AdsMela

AdsMela do not delete the Ad on its own. You can anytime use Delete Ad feature of AdsMela to delete your Ad. If you forgot your password then you can contact. web@adsmela.com .

 

Search Tips

This site provides a very powerful search, just like any search engine. You can search for an Ad through "Search for Keywords in Advertisement". You can narrow down your search by putting right keywords. For example if you are in a category of Vehicles you can put a keyword like "1990 model" without quotes. This will bring all the Ads of vehicles of 1990 model. Type in "maruti" for searching maruti cars in the Vehicle category or try "vespa" to search for a vespa scooter.


 

How to put keywords in Ads to make search powerful

You can put certain keywords in your Ad so that users looking in the category have to do minimum effort to search for right Ad. You can put keywords like "maruti", "ambassador", "vespa", "1990 model" in your Ad, if you want to put an Ad in vehicles category.

 

How to Add Photograph in the Ad.

There are presently two ways to add your photograph in your Ad.

Email a Photo

Due to the large number of photos submitted by email, posting may take up to 72 hours. To help speed up the process, please check to ensure that your email and photo file meet the following requirements:

  • Your email MUST include your First and Last name, AdsMela's registered Username and the category you have placed your Ad. (We DO NOT need your password)

  • We prefer files in .jpg (JPEG) format, but will accept other file formats as well.

  • All photo files must be 200K or less.

  • Please crop the photograph to size width 200 Pixels and height 350 Pixels. 

  • Please send photos as attachments only.

  • Send your email and photo attachments (meeting the above requirements) to web@adsmela.com.

Mail a Photo

You may send your photo to us by traditional mail for our FREE scanning  service. To speed up the process, please follow these guidelines:

  • We suggest photos no larger than 5"x7" and no smaller than 2"x2".

  • Please write your First and Last name, AdsMela's registered Username and the category you have placed your Ad.(We DO NOT need your password) on the back of your photo.
